THE MOMENT I SAID YES
There wasn’t a spotlight.
No stage. No one clapping.
Just a quiet room,
a heartbeat,
and the sound of something soft
unlocking in me.
It happened in May. Not the whole month—just one moment. A moment where my body leaned into something sacred I could no longer deny. A memory I didn’t expect to hold such weight. A whisper in the soul that gently said:
You’re allowed to want more.
You’re allowed to receive.
And in that moment, I said: Yes.
YES to the love I’ve been waiting to feel.
YES to the truth I’ve known in silence.
YES to the version of me that no longer needs to prove, fix, or convince.
I said yes to no longer waiting for permission.
YES to showing up as I am.
YES to my return.
This wasn’t a vow made to impress anyone.
It was a soul agreement made with God, with my own breath, with the part of me that’s always known:
“I will not abandon myself again.”
And as I whispered that yes, the entire room shifted. Not visibly—but energetically. As if the universe had been holding its breath, waiting for me to claim my own life.

If you’re here reading this, maybe you’re standing at the edge of your own ‘yes.’ Maybe this blog post is your sign. Maybe it’s time to stop shrinking, delaying, or apologizing for the magnitude of what you carry. Let this be your permission slip. Let this be your sign. Your yes doesn’t need to be loud to be holy.
It just needs to be yours.
